Bardi Heating and Air is led by Alex Bardi, and is composed of a team that establishes high expectations and sets clear, specific, measurable goals. The team will do everything possible to support our quality people in achieving these goals.
Alex Bardi
Alex is co-founder, President and CEO of both the commercial and residential companies. He has a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BME) from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science (BS) from the University of Georgia. In order to further his business acumen, Alex has been a member of Vistage, an international organization for CEOs, since 1999. He has 24 years experience in the HVAC business and holds unrestricted HVAC licenses in Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. He is on the Board of Directors for the Tommy Nobis Center (www.tommynobiscenter.org), a non-profit organization that specializes in vocational training for persons with disabilities. He is married to Susan, the co-founder of both businesses, and has 4 children : Adam, Andrew, Brianna, and Lilliana.
Tommy Rape, BBA
Chief Estimator/Sales Engineer-
Construction & Engineering Department
Tommy is Chief Estimator/Sales Engineer for the Construction and Engineering Department of Bardi Mechanical. He has 21 years experience in the HVAC business including accounting, building automation, project management, estimating and service account management. Tommy currently works with many General Contractors and Building Owners in the Atlanta area and is adept at meeting the challenges in this competitive, value driven market. He has a BBA in Management Information Systems from the University of Georgia and is authorized for Honeywell LCBS Building Automation Systems. Tommy is married to Tracy Rape and they have two children, Travis and Mandy.
Bob Jarrett
Operations Manager – Construction & Engineering Department
Bob is Bardi Mechanical’s first employee, he has been with the company 16 years with 19 years experience. He studied at Dekalb Technical Institute and graduated in 1991 to earn his technical diploma in Heating and Air Conditioning. He studied and earned his Air Conditioning License for the State of Georgia in 1992. He is currently the Operations Manager for the Construction and Engineering Department, reviewing contracts, scope of work and procuring major purchases for all commercial jobs. He supervises the Project Managers and installation crews. His commercial team specializes in challenging restaurant jobs in the metro Atlanta area, including the Atlanta Fish Market, Roy’s of Buckhead, The lobby at Twelve, Trois, Taps, Aquaknox, Stats, Ray’s on the River and Cuerno.
Kimberly Lunsford
Human Resources & Office Manager
Kimberly has been employed by Bardi Mechanical for six years, as a Human Resource and Office Manager. She has 10 years experience in Human Resources, 8 of those in an HVAC environment. Kimberly has a successful track record managing a diverse workforce in terms of recruitment, hiring, employee retention, and employee benefits. In addition to these duties, Kimberly effectively maintains accounting and office management functions to include payroll, payroll taxes, business insurance, fleet management, and co-supervision of accounting staff.
Ricke Jenkins
Commercial Service & Planned Maintenance Specialist
Ricke is one of our longest tenured employees. Upon graduation from Georgia Tech, he began what has now been a 30-year career in the construction services industry. He has experience in project mananagement as well as his vast experiences in sales and business developement. His first experience with heating and air came some twenty years ago as owner of a company that designed and installed geothermal loops. Today he operates within our commercial service group by providing Planned Maintenance programs, system upgrades and system addition solutions to our clients.
Greg Weigle,
CPA Accountant
Greg is co-founder and a partner with Cyber Financial Solutions, Inc., an accounting and financial management outsourcing firm. He has been a part of the Bardi management team for nearly two years and has twenty-six years’ experience in accounting and financial management in various industries. He has a BA in both Accounting and Finance from Northern Illinois University and is a member of the AICPA.
Gresham Ard
Operations Manager for the Commercial and Residential Service Departments
The newest addition to the Bardi professional team. A third generation industry expert, he started his career as a residential service technician, gaining invaluable insight into consumer needs. Gresham has an Associate Degree from Griffin Technical College in Air Conditioning Technology, holds a Class II Unrestricted Air conditioning License for the State of Georgia, and is a Certified Air Balance Diagnostician. Supervising the day-to -day operations in the service departments, Gresham’s goal is to ensure that each customer gets the highest level of Bardi service. He and his wife Jennifer, have a Pitt Bull Mix, Spock.
