Dear Ricke,

I want to take this opportunity to formally recognize you and all your team members atBardi Mechanical.  After meeting for the first time just weeks before the projectcommenced, we all knew this would be a challenging project for the entire team.  While thecomplete renovation of 80,000 square feet of public school space would be difficult for anyteam, your ability to procure the materials and complete the project in just 8 short weeksmakes it one of the most impressive accomplishments in which I’ve ever been involved.

Work began on site just four weeks after first reviewing the documents.  You brought morethan sufficient manpower and quickly put yourself ahead of all other contractors on theproject.  From the beginning we knew that the mechanical work would drive our schedulebut I don’t think we ever expected the pace you would set for the work.  It was primarilythat initial drive that gave us the confidence to accelerate the schedule and cut 26 weeks offof the initial 34 week plan.  By doubling shifts and working in all areas with multiple crewswe were able to keep from phasing the project and save valuable time during the schoolyear when production would have been slowed to a stop.

Foremost in this acceleration were Bob Jarrett, Phil Sweat, Jimmy Lovingood, and KenWatson who worked together to procure the proper equipment and staff and manage the jobskillfully.  Simply obtaining the equipment seemed nearly impossible to mostsubcontractors, but Bob was able to cut weeks off of promised delivery dates and make theproject possible.  Phil, Jimmy, and Ken spent countless hours and weekends, include theJuly 4th holiday, ensuring that equipment was immediately put to use upon delivery.  Again,

I can’t say enough how much the entire project owes it’s completion and success on everyaspect of the Bardi program.  I’d be excited and motivated to work with you all on anyproject.
